here's a story abt my jack.. n how we r seperated now.. physically but not mentally.
Jack n i loved each other soo soo much.. we did everythin together. n we had much fun.. still rmb dere was once.. we went up a hill to fetch a pail of water.. den jack fell down n broke his crown!! n i went tumbling aft.. den i brought him home n plastered his head wif vinegar n brown paper so dat de wound cld heal fast.. yup.
not long aft dat incident, he was called on to fight dis big bad giant! i was soOo worried for him went he went to fight de giant. but he said he had to go.. for other people's sake.. so i let him.. i prayed for him day n night. a few days ltr, he came home in victory n a few golden eggs!! i was elated!! he killed de evil giant n everyone adored n respected him.. dat was how de story "Jack n the Beansprout" came about..
our lives were pretty much de same n peaceful till he said he was goin on a cruise wif his frenz. i rmb dat was a majesty ship called Titanic. Tragic. For me, n for him. he went on de ship n knew dis gal called Rose. dey had an affair, dat tore my heart apart.. but wad really slashed it apart was de news of his death.. Oh, Jack!! y did u leave me alone here?! but dun worry, my heart will go on=..(
a few yrs ltr, i received a call.. de police said dey went to bring up some stuffs frm Titanic at de bottom of de sea n found a diary in a Louis Vuitton bag. it belonged to Jack. in his diary, he said he wanted to open a potato chips factory one day. so, i helped him to fulfill it n named de potato chips "Jack n Jil".. Louis Vuitton also became famous since then.. cos de leather was in such good state when dey dug dat out.. (fact)
yup.. so now, i've got over him.. but he'll still be de only person dat'll whom i'll nv forget..=)
wahahaha! i noe i damn crap.. but now, here is one true fact abt Jack n Jill de rhyme..
The roots of the story, or poem, of Jack and Jill are in France. Jack and Jill referred to are said to be King Louis XVI - Jack -who was beheaded (lost his crown) followed by his Queen Marie Antoinette - Jill - (who came tumbling after). The words and lyrics to the Jack and Jill poem were made more acceptable as a story for children by providing a happy ending! The actual beheadings occurred in during the Reign of Terror in 1793. The first publication date for the lyrics of Jack and Jill rhyme is 1795 - which ties-in with the history and origins. The Jack and Jill poem is also known as Jack and Gill - the mis-spelling of Gill is not uncommon in nursery rhymes as they are usually passed from generation to generation by word of mouth.
Death by Beheading!
On the gruesome subject of beheading it was the custom that following execution the severed head was held up by the hair by the executioner. This was not, as many people think, to show the crowd the head but in fact to show the head the crowd and it's own body! Consciousness remains for at least eight seconds after beheading until lack of oxygen causes unconsciousness and eventually death. The guillotine is associated with the French but the English were the first to use this device as described in our section containing Mary Mary Quite Contrary Rhyme.
